The Owl Creek Chase is a 21k freestyle cross-country ski race from the Snowmass Cross Country Center to the Aspen Cross Country Center. This unique event combines an elite level pro race with the casual feel of one of the Roaring Fork Valley's favorite citizen events.

Ride for the Pass is a charity bike race/recreational ride to benefit the Independence Pass Foundation. The Ride follows the traditional route from the Winter Gate, 4 miles east of Aspen to the Independence Ghost Town. The ride gains approximately 2,500 feet of elevation from 8,500' to 11,100' over a 10 mile course.

The Aspen Cycling Criterium is not your typical 4 corner race, try 10! This fast paced, energy packed bicycle race is held in the heart of downtown Aspen and runs heats of athletes at speeds of 28 mph and higher around a .9 mile track with sharp curves on road bikes. Race course is a loop route on closed city streets. Participants are local and state racers as well as those from around the Front Range looking to do something unique in Aspen. For the serious racer as well as those just beginning their racing career. Cost is $20.00. First wave starts at 8:30am.

The Golden Leaf is one of the most beautiful foot races in the Rockies. This 13.1 mile half marathon traverses from Snowmass Village to the heart of Aspen on mountain trails and roads at the height of Colorado's breathtaking fall colors.
