About Ride for the Cure

Where: Snowmass Village Recreation Center
Route begins at Snowmass Village, Colorado, through Aspen, Woody Creek and Old Snowmass. Join us for a magnificent and challenging 100 mile route through Aspen and Snowmass Colorado. In 2008, over 400 riders participated in the only century ride dedicated exclusively to fighting breast cancer. Riders are encouraged to choose their challenge and ride as far as possible whether it’s 100 miles or one mile..

Shorter, flatter route option available. Routes available: 100, 50, 30 and 10 miles.

The Ride is fully supported with sag wagons, medical and mechanical services AND cheerleaders! Plus we offer aide stations throughout the course with great food and fun. Registration includes Friday night dinner, breakfast and lunch on Saturday AND a great Finish Line Party in Snowmass with free music, beer, fabulous food, smoothie bar, free massage, and fun activities for the kids.

Registration Information

The Aspen / Snowmass Ride for the Cure® is a fundraising event first, and a bike ride second! Registration includes a committment by each Rider to raise at least $500. We provide easy online fundraising tools, including your own personal donation page.

Why you should participate

Breast cancer now affects 1 in 8 women in the United States. Every day, nearly 600 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and over 100 women die from the disease.

The money raised supports the Aspen Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and its mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment within the Roaring Fork Valley. Join the Ride and help provide hundreds of women, who might not otherwise be able to afford it, the opportunity for annual breast exams, low-cost or no-cost mammograms and diagnostic ultrasound screenings, as well as educational materials on the benefits of early detection. Help eradicate breast cancer before it takes another life.
