Last year, one of the most signifi cant discoveries in Colorado history was unearthed outside Snowmass Village – over 600 bones of mammoths, mastodons, and other giant mammals. This spring, the dig continues, and Snowmass Tourism and Denver Museum of Nature & Science team up to share this unique experience with your family. Hear from experts and get a chance to see and touch real fossils freshly uncovered. There’s hands-on educational fun for everyone, including dig pits, crafts, music and scavenger hunts.
