Our experience at the resort has been very good. It was the 3rd time we stay at Aspen Meadows and I wouldn't choose any other place to go, except for an ski in-ski out resort.
However, I want to point out that the cleanness level has dropped, and should be taken much more care.

Here is the reasoning behind my mediocre rating of Aspen Meadows: while the property grounds and accomodations are excellently maintained especially in light of the resort being pet friendly, the less-than-respectable attitude of much of the staff was a signifcant turnoff. We encountered a handful of staff who appeared put out by attempts to be welcoming, engaging and helpful. Not sure why those individuals choose to be in the hospitality field then. To the resort's credit, I was contacted directly by their guest relations manager after I voiced by disappointment via a resort-initiated customer satisfaction survey and he stated typically the resort scores very high in customer feedback so my displeasure was a surprise yet would be taken seriously into account for staff attitude improvement. I'm unsure whether I'd give Aspen Meadows a 2nd chance as there look to be plenty other lodging options eager for business in and out of the Aspen valley.

My son and I stayed one night here while in Aspen for an event. We loved the set-up of Aspen Meadows with the acreage, beautiful views, and 'green' designed buildings. The food was absolutely wonderful. We had breakfast twice and dinner in the lounge/bar twice. The staff, especially the young lady bartending, really made us welcome and did an excellent job. Our 'junior suite' was huge and comfortable and definitely earned a four star rating. The pool, fitness club and hot tub all looked inviting. I'd love to return, perhaps for a girlfriends getaway.

This place far exceeded my expectations based on the price. Nice, big spacious room with spectacular views. Service was excellent, and transportation into town was easy and convenient.

The Aspen Meadows more than lived up to its promise. The room was spotless, spacious, and had awesome views. The staff was extremely friendly, especially the bell man & the bartender. I will recommend to all my friends. Keep up the good work.

Our recent stay at Aspen Meadows was a highlight of our Colorado trip...so much so that we extended our reservation for an additional night. The staff was courteous and helpful and the shuttle service into town was dependable and a welcome addition to the other amenities offered.
Although the menu was limited due to the "Off season" the food was well prepared and consistently good. Room service was prompt and efficient.
Beautiful setting....we enjoyed the grounds and trails.
I plan to revisit Aspen Meadows soon and often.....a wonderful experience.

Lovely modern rooms and great value. Hot tub plus are an added bonus.
Downside is hotel is slightly out of the very centre of town - walking to town is a bit impractical. The connecting bus is regular and you can jump off the snowmass / highlands buses at the ranger station for a short walk back to the hotel (rather than going all the way into the centre of Aspen and back out).
Other downside is very ordinary food - don't eat here - which is a problem if you're working in the evenings and mornings and skiing during the days....

The suite, view and service were excellent. The food was asolutely delicious. The shuttle service and driver were such an added bonus. We loved being on the outskirts of town. We were treated like VIPS our whole stay and once again the food was amazing, you are blessed with very talented chefs. We will return and will spread the word.

My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom suite for our ski vacation and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help us when my husband was not feeling well. Everyone on staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome.
The only thing we were disappointed in was that when we went to use the hot tub it was heated to about 92 degrees and not the 104 that was posted on the sign.
I do have a recommendation for the ski season and that is a rubber boot tray in the room would keep the carpet cleaner.
