Overall they were great accommodations. The Staff was friendly and helpful. The guests were from all over the world. The Alberta women's ski team was there for some competition. True, the bathroom was small and the fan was noisy, I didn't spend much time in there. The hotel is close to everything in Aspen, within walking distance of Ajax lifts. My room was away from the street and I didn't hear any thing emanating from adjoining rooms, so it was quiet. The flat panel TV, and the alarm clock worked well. There is a hot tub that I used every night. The breakfast was fresh, usually some OJ, rolls, milk and cereal, coffee and tea, bagels, and toppings. It's not what you would call fancy, but it got the job done. I would stay there again.

My stay at Hotel Durant was very enjoyable. The continental breakfast was wonderful, and the wine and cheese in the evening was so nice. The room was very clean and nice. I recommend the hotel for the location and the hospitality. Good pricing as well. I will return.

A very simple, yet comfortable stay. I stayed in the mini-suite and was happy with my room. Pullout sofa-bed and fridge were nice options though I ended up not using them. Very clean place and the staff was quite friendly.

Very conveniently located, friendly and helpful staff, clean and pleasant. Quiet. My room was small but that is to be expected in this price range. Good value for an Aspen hotel.

The staff was excellent! Very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were clean but a bit small & confining. The hotel is in a great location for walking anywhere in downtown Aspen. Cost was very reasonable for Aspen. It was a great deal and again the hotel staff were wonderful.

This property is a very nice place on the edge of downtown Aspen - well within walking distance to anything in town. The room was very clean and the free continental breakfast was standard fare. The hotel is a wireless hotspot, so bring your laptop. The hotel also offers free computer use in the lobby area. HINTS: The balcony rooms are located facing the road which has quite a bit of traffic noise. It can be a bother when the patio door is open at night. Bring your swim suit, the hot tub is great!

Nice location--quiet and comfortable, with good staff. Beds have down comforters and feather pillows, not good for those who are allergic to down. Hypoallergic pillows would have been welcome, but were not available.
Mattress may have needed replacing. Decaf coffee at breakfast and iced tea in the afternoon were available upon request (summertime). Staff provide helpful advice on things to do and where to eat.
