We've stayed here 3 times - it's VERY luxurious, with an unbeatable location 1 block from the gondola and across the street from the main bus station. Their free shuttle takes you anywhere in Aspen/Snowmass, but make sure you reserve your seats to any of the other 3 ski areas early each morning, as they usually only run about once every hour and they do fill up at peak times. The uniformly outstanding staff are great - ski valets store your gear and dry your boots overnight. The in-unit kitchens are top of the line, as are the bathrooms, but the studio units (they're really just smallish hotel rooms) do not have kitchens. We like the heated decking around the pool; the high thread-count linens, and the Pre de Provence bath products. Bottom line: You'll love it here, but definitely opt for a non-studio unit if you're going to be there more than 2 nights. Tip: Try Paradise Bakery for their muffins in the morning (a block away), and Pinions for their pre-6 p.m. dinner deals!
