I love the location of this propery. The accomodations are clean, comfortable and more than adequate. Breakfast is what you would expect and the staff is very accomodating. My only issue with the property is the noise factor. It is hard to ignore. I suppose it is one of the downsides of being located just where you would want to stay to have easy access to all downtown has to offer. I would hesitate to return simply because of the noise issues. If that doesn't bother you, it is perfect in every other way!

My husband and I stayed at Independence Square for 4 nights and 5 days during Ruggerfest 2009. The location was superb, square in the middle of town, shops, restaurants, bus station and mountains within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay with them again and highly recommend this property!

great location, 301 was a very nice room. Each room is unique, so experiences may vary. We had a great time.

Great location, but rather noisy at night. Rooms and bathrooms are quite small and some are not at all attractive. Do not stay in 206: it is cramped, over-decorated and very noisy (just opposite a loud bar). Staff was generally friendly and helpful. We did not like having to negotiate the stairs down to the lobby with all our ski equipment each day. But, as we said, the location is terrific.

Very convenient location, in front of the bus station and near the gondola. Nice and big room, comfortable bed. Table, chairs, microwave and coach in the room are very much appreciated. In summary, a lovely place, BUT extremely noisy at night!!!

Do not stay in room 213 or 313. To much noise from street. Other than that, this is a great location, very clean. I will stay here again but not in the above mentioned rooms.
