I'm from SC and was there for a conference. I was driving from Denver to Aspen and had to make a detour because Independence Pass was closed. The only sign announcing the closed road was one within 1,000 feet of the closed road. I called my husband back home scared and upset, because I had no idea what other direction to go. My husband contacted the property, which in-turn a guy named Peter called me and gave me wonderful directions to get me back on track. I was alone and my GPS did not want to give me any detour directions. The hotel also quickly took care of a small issue with my room once I arrived and gave me a great map of the surrounding area, and each time I walked by the front desk, I was greeted with a smile and a "How are you today?" That type of customer service speaks volumes. I only hope that's the case with the individual guest(s) who's just their to vacation as well.

We had a wonderful time at the lodge! The breakfast is fabulous. Just right for a day of skiing. The apres ski wine and cheese, etc., is great also. It smells so good when you walk in and the cookies are baking! The common room is very comfortable and spacious. We spent lots of time watching the olympics and playing cards. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Fabulous location!

Great place that was apparently recently renovated. Large pool and 2 hot tubs. The location is excellent - only 1 block to the bus and just a block or 2 to all the Aspen shopping and dining. Rooms were modern and large. IPOD compatible radio in every room. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in two different rooms as our upgrade wasn't available on the day of arrival, and both were very comfortable and nicely furnished. Staff was very helpful, and professional. Really enjoyed poolside grilling-the food was very good. You can walk anywhere in town from this location. Very nice laid back atmosphere in front lounge area, complete with roaring fireplace. Great place for couples, or family. This Lodge with it's amenities, is very well priced.

we had a deluxe room, very spacious, good views. Very clean, comfy beds.Kitchenette was stocked with coffee, hot choc and tea at no extra chg. Continental plus breakfast was a nice perk. The dog friendly policy is +/-. Nice if you want to bring your pooch, but there always seemed to be dogs in the lobby. One guest had his dog up on the sofa, which I didn't appreciate. They were however, all well behaved. Front desk staff was pleasant, but not overly helpful. There is no concierge.
Overall, I felt this was a very good value.

We had a deluxe king room with a balcony. It was a beautiful room - very large with a stocked (and free) coffee/tee/hot cocoa maker in the room along with a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The hotel was well situated in Aspen, easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc. The continental breakfast was good and we appreciated that there was free coffee and hot cocoa available in the lobby 24/7. There were pets there as noted by others but that's true in all of Aspen. They were well behaved. We found the service in the hotel to be excellent. While there the elevators were causing problems and the staff was fantastic with handling the situation. We were extremely happy with our choice of this hotel. We loved the Limelight!

the lodge was great - so clean and new. Staff was very accomodating and the room was really nice. Loved the hot tubs, happy hour and breaksfast. Also, having Jay from Four Seasons at the front door was great - he really helped us out a lot! Free ski transfer was a great service!!!

Everything at the lodge is new. The rooms and common areas are in great condition. The location is a very short walk to downtown restaurants and to the free bus. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The ample included breakfasts and the afternoon "tea" (free wine, beer and crackers) are excellent. We highly recommend this property. The other guests also seemed well pleased. We heard no complaints from anyone. The Limelight helped make our first visit to Aspen a resounding success!

Wonderful renovation of an Aspen institution. While I was only briefly a guest before moving into the home I stay at every ski season, this was a surprising treat all around. Staff was great. Beds were incredibly comfortable.

What a beautiful property! I happened to be in Aspen on business, and the Limelight was a real treat. Comfortable bed, cozy gas fireplace, kitchenette, big bathroom, soft robes ... a luxurious experience at a reasonable price. And the location can't be beat. Highly recommended!

From loaning me a shovel and brush to remove snow from my rental car to free overnight check-in of skis at the base of any of the four mountains, it couldn't have been more delightful. I failed to avail myself of the 30-car underground parking at first, but later realized what a good valuie it was. I had a marvelous view of Aspen Mtn. from my 4th floor wrap-around balcony as well as a perspective of half of Aspen. Kindness and caring at every turn. $50M on this completely rebuilt facililty has been well spent. Only three short blocks from gondola and two blocks from the tranportation center. I'm already dreaming of my next stay at the Limelight Lodge.
