The Shadow Mountain Lodge at Aspen is nestled in the heart of Aspen, Colorado, just 4 short blocks from the town's shops, bars, restaurants, and ski lifts. It is very near everything, yet in the quiet west end. The lodge consists of ten condominium units all facing Aspen Mountain, which allows you to enjoy all day sunshine and majestic views of the surrounding area. Each condominium is designer furnished and features fully equipped kitchens, wood burning stoves and private balconies. Accommodations include studio, one, and three bedroom condominiums.

Our first stay in Aspen. The property was simple, but clean, quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced (for Aspen). An easy walk to bus stops and the downtown. Management was friendly and responsive. Would stay there again.

The location was excellent, and it was a great value for the money paid. Certainly one of the better bargains in Aspen. We would definitely stay again.

We've stayed at Shadow Mountain Lodge dozens of times since 1987 for basic, clean and very economical lodging in Aspen. During peak season we walk the four blocks to Aspen for dinner and shopping as parking is difficult to find. The employees in the office and on the cleaning crew have always been responsive to our needs.

This property is economical but very comfortable and cozy. The pool/jacuzzi is great and there is a steam sauna and small game room. There is nothing all that fancy about the property but it has everything you need plus good closet space if you are staying longer than a few days. We had trouble with our water heater but the management was very responsive.
Be mindful that the loft space is only suitable for sleeping.
