Our room at Capitol Peak was very clean and well maintained. The view of the mountains was beautiful, I'll bet it is spectacular in Fall or winter! All of Snowmass is quiet during the summer, especially in early June when we stayed, the main attraction for our visit was the Food and Wine event in Aspen. The free shuttle services came in handy to avoid parking in Aspen, which can be a challenge. Many of the restaurants and stores are only open in season, but there is a grocery store, coffee shop and any of the necessities nearby. Overall, a great value for the region. We did have to call for help with the TV in the room, and they came within a short time and fixed it. I would highly recommend as an alternative to downtown Aspen.

Great location particularly for families with kids in ski school. Great on demand shuttle service. Everything was new and well equipped although the decor was generally uninspired and space was a little tight. Not much storage space. Great staff. At times it seemed like there was more staff than guests. I would definitely stay there again.

Had a great stay at CP, used last minute reservation via aspen snowmass. For the price it was super. At standard rate its still very nice, but expensive. Had trouble finding the place due to lack of signage. Once we were settled everything was wonderful. Brand new 1BR with plenty of room for 2, Bathroom outside of Br seemed strange, but worked in the end. Housekeeping was fabulous twice a day. Garage set up very good once we got our pass and got some directions(signage problem again) Quiet, but not too many people around anyway. Storage lockers large and accessible. Location perfect, walk to all that snowmass offers.
Would stay here again.
