Lichenhearth Condominiums are in a prime ski-in, ski-out location, adjacent to the Fanny Hill ski lift. All studio and one-bedroom condominiums feature a fireplace, private balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. Units are serviced every-other-day by our housekeeping staff for stays longer than 3 days. Amenities include a heated pool, whirlpool, sauna, covered parking, and free laundry facilities.

This is our second consecutive stay at Lichenhearth. We typically put a premium on location, versus paying for luxury accomodations, when we vacation. We stayed in one of the standard units, which had not had any recent renovation, and that adds to the experience and feeling you are at an older complex. Notwithstanding the age of the complex and the unit, we absolutely love staying at Lichenhearth. While the unit is older, it was absolutely clean and well kept, we had no problem with its condition. Nothing could be more convenient than stepping out of the building and being just a few steps away from the ski school each morning. You absolutely cannot beat this location. Other perks include covered parking if you have a car (big plus during heavy snow), wood burning fireplace (versus gas burning at other complexes) with well stocked supply of wood on balcony. For any family with young kids, you can't beat this value.

We LOVED our stay at these condos! Perfect for our family of four. The condo was very clean. Had everything that we needed. Extra bedding, pillows, etc. Had great GAMES and even a small library. The kitchen was very well stocked in regards to utensils, cookware, dishes, etc. It even had basic spices. The condo was PERFECT in regards to how close it was to the TREEHOUSE and the ski lifts. We will be staying here again when we come back for our yearly ski trip to Snowmass.

This is a perfect location if you are taking children to ski school and centralized enough to walk to the town grocery market, stores and restaurants. Our condo had all the amenities we needed- gas grill, fireplace , flat screen TV, DVD player, lots of storage space and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We plan to visit here again and stay at Lichenhearth.

For the price and location, this is great. Our unit was very clean. Everything in the unit worked. Service is a little sketchy, as cleanings were missed and we had to borrow trash bags from a neighbor renter. In fact, I've rebooked for Feb. 2009.

Fireplace flue was in terrible need of cleaning. Condo filled with smoke each time we tried to light a fire. We had to purchase our own toilet paper within two days of arrival. We had to return to office to get a key that worked. Kitchen lacks basics such as salt/pepper/spices. There was not even a crock pot available. We will not be booking here again.
