Good value, fantastic location. This place is a great location/value. HOWEVER, if you are expecting a four star stay, you may be disappointed. To be hillside, pool, hot tub, cold breakfast, this is a FANTASTIC deal! Clean, well kept rooms, nice clerks, an incredible deal.

Localizado ao lado da pista, bom café da manhã e quarto confortável com piso aquecido.
A piscina aquecida é excelente.
Apenas a altitude incomoda.
Voltaria no POKOLODI facilmente.

The location of the lodge was perfect - right across the street from the mall and the slopes, just a few stairs away from the bus to Aspen and the X-games. The room was nice and clean. The hot tub never had many people in it and so close to the room. The continental breakfast was fair but always well stocked and never crowded. Staff was extremely helpful to first time tourists to the area, and pickup at the airport was fast. Only wish they had an elevator. Highly recommend to anyone!

I stayed 5 nights with my 20 year old son. The beds were very comfortable. The size of the room was good for 2 people who were there to ski. The ski rack in the rooms with a catch pan under them to catch the water was great. The bathroom was small but adequate for our needs. It appeared that there had been some updates to the bathroom area which were nice. Very warm at night. Pool and hot tub were down a flight of stairs and hot tub was hot! almost too hot but soothing. Housekeeping was great! Breakfast was ok but sparse for a 20 year old boy. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. The airport shuttle was fantastic and did not need a vehicle while we were there.

The lodging was just what we were after: affordable. There was a noticeable stain on a blanket, but it was changed when we notified housekeeping. Other than that, the location was excellent (200 yards from Snowmass Mall and from the free RFTA busstop going to and from Aspen). Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent central location with only a short walk to the slope. Prompt and courteous lodge staff. Breakfast was continental and done quite well. Room was clean. New tile floors in bath/sink area. HD flat screen TV. Beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. I would return to Pokolodi lodge for future ski trips to Snowmass. This lodging is an excellent value.

The BEST location in Snowmass Village! Breakfast is nothing great, but is something to eat before I go out skiing. The rooms are nice, beds are very comfortable. The friendliest staff I encountered in Snowmass. I will be returning to the Pokolodi Lodge for my next visit to Snowmass Village.

Pokolodi Lodge is a great skier value! This was our second stay there in the last 5-6 years, and we will return. Pokolodi staff is always friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, WiFi worked great, and the breakfast, while basic, is plentiful. We checked-out on a Sunday morning, but they made a changing room available to us later that day before we left Snowmass - a nice touch. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub - clean and well-maintained. The short walk to the parking lot, Aspen bus terminal, and Snowmass chair lift makes this a really convenient location. It's a great value.

I was looking for a good deal the week of Christmas as my kids leave up there and wanted to see them before Christmas. The room was great it even had a fireplace and right off of the slopes and close to the mall. The bed was very comfortable and very nice updated bathrooms small but nice. I would very much stay here again and most likely will later in the year.

Nice hotel close to the slopes. Very close to bus shuttles and village mall.
The big difference is made by the hotel's team and especially Joe, the manager who is a really nice guy, always helpful with guests. Will definitely not hesitate to go back to Pokolodi Lodge.

I have stayed at the Pokolodi Lodge in Snowmass CO for 10 years and want to extol the virtues of its location, its value for the dollar and its staff; particularly its staff.

The Pokolodi is located about 300 feet from the slopes and an easy cruise down to the main lift. It is across and up an elevator from bus transport everywhere in the area including the other three Aspen-Snowmass resorts. Further, it has numerous restaurants and shops also within 350 feet.

Its value is exceptional as its accommodations are wonderful and its prices surprisingly moderate for its location.

The best part of staying here is the responsiveness of the staff. For example, they always have my bed board in place before my arrival, store my bags delivered by FedEx and place them in my room and are near instantly available to address any issue.

Friends and I have stayed at the Pokolodi for the past 5 years. It's a great deal : walking distance to ski shop, restaurants, ski slopes and bus station. They pick you up at the airport. Hot tub and pool on site to sooth aching muscles after a hard day of skiing. Breakfast is very adequate. Rooms are nice, clean and the price is right !! I'll be back in 2011

Amazing value, clean rooms, comfortable beds, xlnt hot tub and pool. Most of the front desk people were nice but one fellow needed an attitude adjustment. It's a no frills hotel but let's face it, you're there to ski. Rather inconvenient parking but workable. Great location near the slopes. I would recommend this to a friend. Didn't try the continental breakfast. Frig in room is a great convenience. Having microwaves in room would be a huge bonus.

Nice accommodations at a reasonable price. Friendly staff that wanted to help. Only need is more seating for breakfast which is a problem since the common area is small. Very convenient to transportation, a big plus! This was our first visit and would consider staying here again.

I read some of the older reviews and they do not apply any longer. I believe all rooms have been updated, I stayed on the upper floor facing the pool and the room was a great deal for the money. You can't beat the location, you are steps away from the slope, steps away from the restaurants and steps away from the shuttle that takes you anywhere you want to go. Of course you can spend $450+ a night and get 5 star accommodations but hey, I'm here to ski, not show off in the bar. My room had 2 queen beds, comfy beds I might add, new comforter etc, made it very convenient to sleep in one bed and put our ski gear on the other bed. There is a a place in the room to hang your skis and a small fridge, coffeemaker etc. I found it to be clean and updated. I will always stay there and do recommend it to my friends and a great lodging value. Continental breakfast is free and decent. I wouldn't pay more to stayh someplace else. Pray for SNOW.

Maid service comes only once a day, and I you have your "do not distrub" sign up, they just put some towles in a bag and leave outside your door.

Nice place to stay for the money, only about 100 Yards fromt the lift. Pool and spa are outside and uncovered though, and you have to pay $25 to park in the lot.

The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful.

Location is very good.

The rooms are very old, kind of dirty, and have seen better days. The bathroom wasn't too bad. The walls are extremely thin and I heard neighbors above and on both sides early in the morning. It was a decent deal, but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Incredible location!! Within steps of the lifts and the mall. Convenient to all the Snowmass Village restaurants and shopping. The hot tub was always perfect at the end of the day and the views were beautiful. The room was always clean and the people were friendly. Don't expect 5 star accomodations, but the location makes up for the budget hotel ambiance. Paying half of what we would have spent for condos not nearly as close to the lifts, made Pokolodi lodge a winner for us!

The rooms are very old fashioned with mattresses that felt like they have not been switched in 15 years. The bathrooms are carpeted and very crowded, the tub leaked and was not large enough to take a bath in for a normal sized individual. My room was right on the street and the doors open up right to the outside like a motel not a nice hotel (which you would expect for $185). There was constant noise from the plows all night (which was a good sign that the skiing was awesome the next day), but I was so tired that I could not enjoy it. The hot-tub (a must for skiiers that ski for more than two consecutive days) is a freezing 50 yards away from the hotel. The (?hot) breakfast was cheap donuts that you buy at a convenience store and not much more.
