These two-bedroom units have undergone an extensive $1.75 million renovation, with the comfort and enjoyment of guests in mind. The front of the units have been extended to increase the size of the living rooms by 100 square feet. Larger front windows provide generous sunlight and beautiful views. Other interior improvements include new gas fireplaces, carpet, paint, window treatments and furnishings. A freshly landscaped park-like setting, heated walkways, and a large hot pool add to the ambiance. Just 50 yards from the slopes, the Terracehouse offers convenient access to the free Village Shuttle, and is only a short walk from the restaurants and shopping in the Village Mall.

The condo was serviceable but nothing special. Makes me wonder what would have happened if I didn't rent the gold level unit. The location is fairly convenient to the hill but be warned there are a fair number of stairs (with small children this is tough). The unit was a little dirty. We had popcorn in the fold out bed and stains on sheets and shams. Staff is... there but particularly helpful. They give little info (ie what is the code to the pool area?) They didn't give any suggestions about luggage or drop off when we arrived (Ok this was strange but CME was crazy. 10 minutes from Snowmass they asked ME to call condo management to get drop off info. And they gave me the wrong number. Thank goodness for the ipad and google. At check out the bell service suggested they might be too busy to help. Weird.

We stayed 4 nights in unit 95, on 3rd floor recently. Location was just short walk to slopes or would have been skiable if had more snow. Convenient walk around the corner and up the hill to mall to eat and shop. This unit had granite in the kitchen and baths, but I would definitely rate as 4 star, but was good value for the money. I would definitely stay there again.

Repeat guest at the Terracehouse - stayed in unit 53 this time. While it is a great location and good value, the units are starting to feel a little tired and could use some updating / good maintenance.

Good location, excellent furnishings, equipment and cleaning service. Was in 55, only flaw - it is structurally noisy: people walking in other units cause you to feel mini earthquakes

Third time we've stayed at the Terracehouse. It's not the fanciest or largest condo, but you can't beat the location. The unit we stayed in was fine; some new appliances and linens would be welcome, but for a week of skiing with the kids, we were absolutely comfortable. We'd definitely stay there again.

We had 5 adults from Feb 2-6, 2007. The condo location was great, just a few flights of stairs down from the Mall and a short 100-yard walk to Fanny Hill slope. The condo was nicely furnished and was clean. The outside hot tub with large boulders integrated was unique and wonderful after a day of skiing. Two complaints: 1) the bunk beds in one bedroom were not ideal for seniors. I thought I had booked double beds in that bedroom??, and 2) the condo was too hot with almost no temperature control. We had to sleep with windows open to keep the temperatures down. This also meant that we couldn't use the nice gas fireplace. Overall, it was a great experience and I would rent again.

Other reviews were very accurate, noisy & slow dishwasher, lots of space & beds, our unit (top flr) had 2 dbl beds in ea bdrm & 2 sofa pullouts (did not use), with 2 full baths, could easily sleep twelve. Our unit was at the lower (downhill) end of the property closer to Burlingame Lane, = more walk uphill to the mall, units at the upper side next to Campground Lane would have been nice, since we had young ones in ski school, we had to walk up everyday, note: leave equipment in the overnite storage at the mall, or Silvertree Hotel (free, just leave tip), short shuttle ride to the grocery store, and a nice (4 star)restraunt and bar next door at the Stonebridge Inn. We had one small problem with a burnt out light bulb in one of the bathrms, too high to reach and the service people never came to fix. But they came real fast with the vaccumm when we dropped a glass cup in the kitchen. The washer/dryer units centrally located, would be nice to have in each tower. Note: ground flr units walk down half flight.

My family has stayed at these condo for the past 3 years and are planning again in 2007 to return. The units are always well kept and the staff is very helpful. We had previously stayed at the Silvertree Hotel and found that for the money these condos were a huge step up.
