We stayed in Summit 106. This condo was beautifully done and the convenience of getting to the slopes was fabulous. The staff at the office were friendly and very helpful. Though we had a car and did not use the shuttle, they were available for use. Since we were there on the last day of the season, there were not many people staying in the units and the office staff wanted to leave early on Sunday. We were actually contacted to see if it was okay with us for them to do so.
I will be back. for our next stay.

We stayed in the Upper Slope#309. The room was very neat and clean and the condo itself felt cozy and well furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary utensils and dishes. The bathrooms were spic and span. Overall we had a wonderful experience and looking forward to coming back and staying here.

Stayed at Trails 105 for the JAS Labor Day festival. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in a well-stocked, clean unit. When we arrived, the two twin beds in one of the bedrooms was not what we expected since we were a group of two couples. We called the front desk and they sent someone up right away to turn our twins into a nice California king. The bed was very comfortable and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the hot tubs and pool as well; very clean. I know it was a busy weekend with weddings and the festival going on yet we still had a great experience. Thank you

We stayed at Upper Summit #304 for 10 days and it was great! We were on the point, so slope side view was perfect. Easy ski in/ski out. The 3 bdrm condo was well appointed, and nicely decorated. (One can never tell from the photos that are on line!) Great housekeeping service, and "concierge" very helpful. Pool and hot tubs were great and a refreshing short walk away. The Top Of the Village shuttle service was also a great service. A premier location for a price, but worth it. You truly are at The Top of the Village!

The 8 of us stayed in Trails 109 over Thanksgiving. 4 BR (1 king and 6 twins) 3 bath. The staff at TOV Gatehouse was exceedingly helpful and prompt from the moment we checked in thruout our entire stay. The Condo itself was spacious, modern, very clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Shuttle service was there as soon as you called. Outdoor Hot Tub and Pool were AMAZING! Only 2 complaints. #1: It really wasn't what I was thinking of as ski in, ski out...This unit is the farthest from the slope so you had to walk through the deep snow and climb up the little hill about 10 feet to actually get to the trail to ski down the mountain and access the lift. It could be done but it was a trek. #2: Many of the mattresses in the unit had seen better days as far as offering support. But we were so exhausted that we slept well anyway!
I arranged our trip thru StayAspenSnowmass and Sherri was wonderful. Everything about our stay from start to finish was awesome! We will be back!

Just like they said - Slopeside with ski in/ski out. Gosh we were lucky to end up here. We stayed in the Slope building unit 203 looking out on the slope. Great location, condo and service. Couldn't ask for much more. One company quoted us over $5,000 for six nights but another took off 30% when asked.
This overall location was great and we rode the shuttle to Buttermilk one day and Aspen one night. No complaints. Ground floor might be nice to walk out to the slope but 2nd floor was fine too. Request one of the "point" buildings so you are on the slopes.
Ski hard but drink lots of water. I got HAPE and it wasnt pleasant.

We stayed in Summit 103. Had booked a 2 bedroom condo but got a 3 bedroom/3 bath for same price which worked out nicely -- everyone got their own room. Truly ski in - ski out: we could walk out the bedroom slider to the trail. Pricey but got a great spring ski deal with buy 4 nights get 5th night free. The free shuttle around Snowmass was quite reliable and very useful to have so you don't have to climb the hill back up form the village. Condo was nice--clean, comfortable and perfect for our family with kids. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

We stayed at Unit #502 in the Leaf Building, a very comfortable and clean 3BR/3Ba condo. The walk between the unit and the village and/or the hot tubs didn't bother us at all unlike some of the other reviewers. The unit was clean and cozy and well-equipped. Out luggage was lost on the way out and the front desk staff was exceptionally helpful about getting us toiletries to use until our luggage arrived. The shuttle service is extremely convenient and was necessary for getting to/from the village market. That's my only complaint -- I wish there had been a grocery delivery service because we had a very nice kitchen, but nothing to cook until we were able to make the trek down to the market after a long day of skiing. I had reservations about heading out west so late in the season, but the timing was perfect as we had an unexpected spring blizzard! It was perfect and I would most definitely return and request this unit.

Our party of 6 had a wonderful time in the Leaf building. The accomodations were great and we made it our home. We skied Snowmass, Buttermilk, and Aspen during our stay and we had blue skies every day. Sorry we had to go home.

Our family of 3 recently stayed at Top of the Village in unit #208 and thought it was an exceptional condo! It is a 2-bedroom unit that has a king in the master bedroom and a queen in 2nd bedroom. The owner's guest book says they have owned their unit for many years and the pride they take in their place is obvious. I would guess it was totally remodeled/redecorated recently and has a lovely mountain theme; it was also was very clean. Another benefit is that this unit is located near the office, which made checking in and out easy.
We were able to walk to dinner in Snowmass Village, but if you're not used to the altitude, the walk back uphill will be slower.
After reading the other reivews here about the inconsistency in some of the condos, I would highly recommend this unit #208.

We rented two 3-bedroom condos for one week during February 2006. The location is great, ski-in ski-out access is very nice. The condition of the condos was spotty, and depended on the individual owners' style, ability and propensity (i.e., the management company does not directly control the amenities and condition of the units). Although the management company was very responsive to our repair needs in one of the units, their hands were tied somewhat. For example, the owners of one of the units locked the ski storage door, so that five pairs of skis/poles had to be placed in the entry area near the front door causing crowding, slipping and wetness. (Oh well, its not my place.) The other unit was quite nice, and provided all the expected atributes of a top notch condo. Note that the units are not totally soundproof (e.g., you'll hear your neighbors). Overall, I'd say that we all enjoyed the experience but be cautioned, check the individual units, lower your expectations (particularly given the high rates) and you should be fine. Covered parking is nice but a little tight for big SUVs. The pool and hot tubs are a bit of a walk (either uphill or downhill), and thus that is a negative compared to other comparable properties. Their shuttle service is nice, prompt and reliable. Overall, I'd stay there again (but honestly, I expected more and nicer).

Excellent in terms of service and convenience. BUT, as others have noted, units vary greatly. It's tough to pay so much and end up in what could feel like a cheap mote. Other units are well done and well maintained. We love the location and service and will stay again, but only if specific "known" units are available. Too bad owners aren't required to meet better standards before a unit qualifies for the rental pool.
