Yoga Hikes on Aspen Mountain

Nestled in the Heart of the Rockies Aspen provides the perfect natural setting for yoga, scenic hikes, outdoor adventures, relaxation, and rejuvenation.

Sweat and stretch in the midst of inspiring scenery. This popular program combines a 45-minute intermediate backcountry hike followed by open-air Hatha yoga at the top of Aspen Mountain.

During the hike, you’ll be introduced to a lovely Colorado trail, while your guide points out the native flora and fauna and gives a brief overview of the history of Aspen and Aspen Mountain. Wear sturdy shoes and sunscreen, and be sure to bring water.

Taught by the fully certified instructors of New Beginnings Yoga, Inc., the yoga portion of this program is open to all levels, from beginners and up, and the practice is designed to be fun as well as to allow you to connect with the beauty of the mountain environment that surrounds you. Please wear loose clothing for the yoga portion, and dress in layers as the temperature is often cool at the top of the mountain.

Also, after your yoga hike, treat yourself to a fabulous lunch in a majestic setting. The Sundeck atop Aspen Mountain offers lunch daily! More information on activities on Aspen Mountain
