Jazz Aspen Snowmass June Festival

New in 2009, the JAS June Festival has been expanded to a ten day event which will include three nights of headline concerts from world-class jazz musicians at the Benedict Music Tent (June 18-20), weekly paid and free performances from JAS Academy Bands and a closing weekend of small venue shows in clubs and restaurants all around downtown Aspen (June25-27).

Tickets go on sale Friday April 10th, 2009 at 10:00AM MST. More acts for the second weekend including bassist Christian McBride and the JAS Academy Bands to be announced.

Festival Facts

Door Tickets:

Tickets are available the day of the show at the site box office only to the extent that seating has not sold out.
There is no guarantee of what if any seating is available.
Prices are $5 more per ticket at the door the day of the show.

Children:

Due to limited seating during the June Festival, children must purchase a seat at regular price.

Admission:

Doors open one hour prior to show time.
RE-ENTRY WILL BE ALLOWED AT THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL!!

Handicap Access:

Accommodations are available. Please contact the JAS Festival Administrative Office at (970) 920-4996 for request and information.

Cameras & Recording:

NO cameras allowed.
Audio and video recording devices are strictly prohibited.

Weather:

Concerts are held RAIN OR SHINE.
Evenings in Colorado can be quite cool so please bring appropriate clothing for changing mountain weather. It has been known to snow in Aspen/Snowmass in June. June festival events take place within a large tent.

Food:

Coolers and glass containers are prohibited.
Food & beverages are available on the grounds at reasonable prices.
