Event Description

Try repeatedly throwing a 16 foot log end over end, shotputting a 28 pound rock, pitchforking heavy burlap bags over a high jump bar, and tossing a 56# metal weight as far as you can like a discus thrower all in one day. The Celtic Games celebrate these centuries-old sports with true Celtic spirit. Celtic vendors, wares and food, dancing and music, and Clans provid-ing information on Celtic heritage throughout the day. Traditional Celtic music playing throughout the day.
