Shorts are hot and Aspen Shortsfest, showcasing talent from around the globe, is widely celebrated as THE festival to attend to see the best. Explore the lighter side of Aspen Shortsfest. Join us on June 29th for an evening of award-winners and audience favorites in Snowmass Village! All shows will be screened in the Caberet room at the Silvertree Hotel. In August you won't want to miss other great¬films such as Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out, Air Guitar Nation and silent film science fiction movie Metropolis. Featuring a live musical performance.On Friday night July 20th the Snowmass mall becomes Hogwarts. Coinciding with the release of the last Harry Potter book, the festivities will kick off about 6 PM with interactive fun, impromptu shows through out the Mall, and a House of Bounce for the kids. As the sun sets, Denise Berry Hanna will regale the crowd with her spell binding story telling on the Fanny Hill Stage followed by a showing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at dusk. All are encouraged to assume the dress of their favorite character! Following the end of the movie, eager fans can queue up at the Snowmass Book store to purchase the first copies of Harry's last adventure at the stroke of midnight.
