Welcome to Camp Aspen Snowmass, where all summer-long families are spoiled for choice. Toddlers can enjoy art and music at the Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center, young children can learn about the magic of nature, and teens can build their confidence with thrilling activities.
At Camp Aspen Snowmass we are excited to share some of our favorite mountain activities! The following activities provide exciting options for a great day at camp. Campers will sign up for the activity they choose to participate each day. Gondola Rides, Eurobungy Trampoline, Hikes, Cooking, Crafts will all be included at times to daily camp activities.
CAMP ASPEN SNOWMASS
Camp Aspen Snowmass provides a fun, dynamic environment with daily programs available for ages one through teens. Activities include mountain biking, hiking, mountainboarding, skateboarding, eurobungy trampoline, cooking and crafts, theme and nature days, swimming and new this year a ropes course, the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster and more. Private lessons are also available for kids, adults and families.
New for camp this year is a Lost Forest Day where campers will be able to ride the new Breathtaker Alpine Coaster and test themselves on the challenge course. Height and weight restrictions apply. These exciting new adventures are offered Jun. 25 – Aug. 16, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Cubs Camp childcare at the Kids Treehouse Adventure Center (Ages 1 to 3, must be walking) - Kids will experience everything the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center has to offer, including playrooms, guided art and music activities, as well as a ride up the Elk Camp Gondola for toddler-friendly adventures and interaction with nature.
Specialty Multi-Day Camps (reservations required) Overnight Campouts (Ages 6 to 12) - Overnight campouts let kids spend the night in a private Snowmass campsite, in a fun and supervised setting. The mountain activities include dinner, campfire, stories, songs and stargazing. Offered Wednesday nights, Jul. 18 and Aug. 1, 15, 2018.
Rocket Camp (Ages 4 to 10) - These two and three day camps are ideally suited for young scientists. Kids will learn about and build their own model rocket and watch it launch. Campers must sign up for the entire two or three day session. 2-day camp - Ages 4-5 - Jun. 19-20, Jul. 2-3, Jul. 24-25, Aug. 7-8 3-day camp - Ages 6-10 - Jun. 11-13, Jun. 25-27, Jul. 9-11, Jul. 16-18, July 30 – Aug. 1, Aug. 13-15, Aug. 20-22.
Dirt Dawg Pro Mountainboard Camp (Ages 6 & up) - Campers learn mountainboard skills from pros alongside our talented camp coaches. Offered July 25- 27, 2018. There will be a mountainboard competition on Jul. 28, 2018 free for all participants. Intro to Mountain Bike Camp (Ages 6 to 9) – Two day camp designed for children that know how to ride a bike and want to learn new skills. The two days will include bike handling skills, skill development, bike safety, bike maintenance, and distance riding. The goal of this program is take those children who already know how to ride a bike and prepare them for mountain biking without jumping straight into full on Downhill Mountain biking. Offered Jun. 19-20, Jul. 9-10, Jul. 26-27. Downhill Mountain Biking (Ages 8 & up) –Campers get lessons that offer new riders the opportunity to learn and grow. Higher level bikers will be challenged on downhill trails and new terrain. The bike program is offered Jun. 25 –Aug. 24 on all Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s. Rentals are not included in the camp rate. Teen Programs (ages 12 & up) includes downhill biking on Tuesdays and the Lost Forest on Thursdays Jul. 10 – Aug. 16. The bike program is offered on Tuesdays, Jul. 10 – Aug. 4. Bike rentals and safety gear are not included in the camp rate.
