When does Aspen Mountain open this year? Aspen Mountain is opening early on Saturday, November 17, 2018 with top to bottom skiing! Lifts open will be: Silver Queen Gondola, Ajax Express (open for the season), The Nell and Bell Chairs (open for the weekend).
2018-2019 Aspen Mountain Updates and Improvements
Top-to-bottom snowmaking on Aspen Mountain - Aspen Mountain is going through the approval process for the proposed Pandora’s Expansion that will increase snowmaking capabilities, expand terrain, and add a new chairlift. The plan would result in top-to-bottom snowmaking.
When does Snowmass open for the season? November 22, 2018 is set as the first day of skiing and riding on Snowmass.

New Limelight Hotel Snowmass - The ski-in/ski-out Limelight Hotel Snowmass will be opening its doors, 99 hotel room doors to be exact, for reservations beginning in January 2019. The hotel will feature a new restaurant, lounge area, children’s game area, and the tallest indoor, rock-realistic climbing wall in Colorado. Book your stay today.
Snowmass Mountain Club - Join the newest club in town, the Snowmass Mountain Club, which is offering just 228 private memberships. Enjoy private parking, ski-in access, and admittance to the hotel’s fitness facilities and hot tubs.
Snowmass Base Village Grand Opening Celebration - Snowmass Base Village has been undergoing a $600 million mountain-resort development, the largest under construction in North America. Head to the grand opening celebration on December 15 for live music, food, drinks, and giveaways!

New Fort Frog - A new wooden, frontier-style Fort Frog is under construction in the woods of Buttermilk. Debuting this winter, the kid’s play structure will include lookout towers, a jail, a swinging bridge, a snowball launcher, a turbo twister slide and more.
When does Aspen Highlands open for the season? Savvy skiers get ready. Aspen Highlands is OPENING EARLY on December 1, 2018. Open terrain will even include portions of Highland Bowl on the G-Zone side!
