Spanning from the top of the Elk Camp chairlift to the bottom of Snowmass Base Village, Snowmass Bike Park offers nearly 3,000’ of vertical descent and over 19 miles of trails that include everything from world-class downhill terrain to gentle singletrack flow trails for new riders.

Be on the lookout for new bike trails scheduled to open this summer:

  • An extremely difficult freeride trail, similar to the feel of Valhalla, that will extend .7 miles along bikers right of Valhalla.
  • A more difficult freeride trail that will cover a mile of terrain to bikers left of Valhalla
  • A more difficult singletrack trail that will extend off of Viking for 0.7 miles

3. Find Fun in the Lost Forest + Expanded Weekends & Hours

Immerse yourself in the mountain, between the trees and among the peaks for the second season of Lost Forest. Activities include the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster, Canopy Run Zipline Tour, Treeline Challenge Course, Rugged Ascent Climbing Wall and so much more. 

Two new time slots will be available for the canopy zipline tour, 9:30 am and 10 am, owing to Snowmass’ earlier opening time of 9 a.m. New this summer, fall weekend operations will also include Fridays!

4. A Jam-Packed Summer Event Line-Up

Snowmass knows how to keep you busy all summer long. Weekly happenings include Farm to Table Tuesdays, Snowmass Rodeo on Wednesdays, Free Concert Series on Thursdays and Fridays on the Mall. Other festivities include mountain bike races, yoga retreats, trail runs and adventure races, a volleyball tournament and the Snowmass Balloon Festival. September is packed with Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience (an annual don't miss event), Snowmass Cidermass, Septemberfest, Snowmass Wine Festival and more! 5. Visit for a Full Weekend of Bike Stoke August 17-18

Aspen Snowmass is once again hosting the Big Mountain Enduro (BME) Mountain Bike Finals August 17-18, 2019. The two-day event blends high altitude riding mixed with some of the biggest descents and best riding in the area. Riders will see five to six stages, over 12,000 feet of descent and 3,000 feet of climbing. The 2019 Audi Power of Four Mountain Bike race will take place on an entirely new course on a loop around Snowmass that will journey across some of the best singletrack in the valley on Saturday, August 17. Also happening that weekend is the VIDA MTB Series Women's Skills Clinic!

6. So Much to Do in Snowmass Base Village

Summer in the newly renovated Snowmass Base Village kicks-off June 21 in conjunction with the opening of the Elk Camp Gondola and the Lost Forest. Family friendly lawn games will be available seven days a week including slip-and-slide human bowling, corn hole, giant Jenga, Connect Four, hula hoops, pogo sticks, sack racing and more. 7. Limelight Snowmass Open for First Summer Season

A hit in its first winter, the new Limelight Snowmass is gearing up for a summer of fun. The new hotel features a new restaurant, a children’s game area and the largest climbing wall of its kind in the state. Adjacent to Snowmass Mountain’s Elk Camp Gondola, the hotel provides easy access to summer activities such as mountain biking and the Lost Forest. Don’t miss out on happy hour deals in the Lounge, deals for Snowmass Bike Park passholders, live music and pet-friendly rooms.

8. Bike until Sunset at Snowmass Bike Park

In conjunction with the Farm to Table Dinners at Elk Camp restaurant, the Snowmass Bike Park will extend the park hours to stay open until dusk every Tuesday from July 2-August 13. Riders can purchase a late arrival ticket for just $34 that is valid 2pm until dusk.

9. Extended Passholder Week at Snowmass
