Aspen's ideal slopeside retreat, The Inn at Aspen is a ski-in/ski-out full-service conference resort located at the base of Buttermilk Mountain. The Inn at Aspen offers an elevated travel experience with an attentive staff, in a comfortable and relaxed environment. The majority of the guest rooms were renovated in 2012/13 and offer amenities such as refrigerators, coffee makers, robes, humidifiers, complimentary wireless and daily housekeeping. On-site amenities include a fitness room, outdoor heated pool and hot tub, complimentary shuttle service and onsite restaurant and bar.
Groups as well as individuals find our facilities particularly well suited to their needs. The Inn at Aspen has just over 5,000 sq. feet of meeting space. Excellent room (more modern than expected but at inimum roomy and lots of closet space, bathroom had newer amenities); great location at base of Buttermilk and a few minutes drive from Aspen city center; reasonably priced for Presidents holiday weekend (actually had availability to boot). Highly recommend to others looking for similar accommodations.

Not a luxury hotel but comfortable and clean with decent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Rooms are spacious with TV, DVD player, free wifi, microwave, small fridge and coffeemaker. Free shuttle to ski areas and town is a plus. All in all a good place to stay.

The Inn at Aspen is a nice hotel at the base of. Buttermilk Mountain.

You cannot beat the location of the Inn at Aspen just a few minutes away from the airport and within a 100 feet of the Buttermilk Ski Area lifts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The availability of free limo service to and from the airport and to and from the city of Aspen is invaluable. Home Team BBQ at the inn serves excellent food and is a great
place for apres ski. Ski and equipment rental is right next door and the free overnight transfer of rented skis between the four ski areas was greatly appreciated. The only negative comment I have is a result of the rooms at the inn being individually owned; consequently, you are likely to get a room that is not appointed as well as photos on the inn's web site depict. While our accommodations were certainly satisfactory, they could not be considered anywhere close to luxury accommodations. The bed, however, was extremely clean and comfortable.

Beautiful area, wow we hit peak Aspens color! Lovely Inn!

The room was dated and smelly. The comforter looked like it carried dangerous diseases. The traffic was horrendous to get to town and back. In Atlanta I could have stayed at 5 Star Hotel for this price. Yuck

Shuttle drivers were very polite and efficient. Rooms are nice. Restaurant menu was fine, but more "pubby" than we had hoped. I think that was because the X games had been there. Otherwise a great pick for our trip.

Was not told in advance that neither the pool nor the hot
tub were operational. Had I known that, I would not have booked the room.
The continental free breakfast in the morning was on par to what a person
could find at a gas station. The room itself was very nice. The place was 95%
empty on October 28, 2015, the night of my stay.

Nice location, appreciated the transportation to town, continental breakfast, mini-fridge and view of the mountain. McKenney's @ The Inn is a nice option - solid menu, fair pricing, good ambiance and service. Having a raised dish for soap and shampoo in the shower would be appreciated . We look forward to returning to The Inn at Aspen.

Great location at the base of Buttermilk Mountain. Although a little bit (really just a couple of minutes), the Inn offers a free shuttle to downtown Aspen, and other attractions nearby. Every employee we encountered during our stay was very friendly, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Very impressed with the quality of employees. The room was updated, clean and comfortable. We had a room mountain side, with a patio (or deck)that was great for relaxing in the afternoon sun after a great day of hiking. I would highly recommend the Inn at Aspen.

The Inn at Aspen has been completely remodeled, including the reception area, lounge, and restaurant. These public areas have a very contemporary, warm, and welcoming alpine look and feel.
Most of the rooms, likewise, have been updated with the requisite mini-fridge and microwave, large flat-screen TV, updated bed and furnishings, and pleasant lighting and decor. Bathrooms have the expected hair dryer and accessories; and a welcome (timed) ceiling heat lamp.
For coffee drinkers who are used the usual in-room-made bland coffee, the room's coffee maker with Starbucks coffee packs produces a brew that's a significant improvement. Tasty with character - typical Starbucks.
The restaurant's breakfast is a mixed affair. They offer the usual selections from a breakfast menu, and also offer a continental breakfast at $12.
Aspen's free bus service to downtown and to other ski areas is convenient. During the ski season, buses can be caught in the Buttermilk parking lot or on the highway, a short walk from the inn. The inn also provides complimentary transportation to downtown, the airport, and other locations.
And to top things off - location, location, location. The Inn is truthfully "ski-in/ski-out". It's at the base area of Buttermilk Mountain Ski Resort with complete facilities within "a stone's throw": ticket office, rental shops, gift shop, and cafeteria. It's also near the just-opened "The Hideout", which houses child-related resources including arrangements for children's ski lessons and child care.
I found the staff to be helpful and friendly, including the restaurant staff, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel (with the affable Bruce as maintenance supervisor).
I recommend the Inn at Aspen very highly and I look forward to returning.
