Glad this budget hotel is still available. Love location and that has pool/jacuzzi, and microwave and frig. You get what you pay for. Maybe someday they will upgrade mattresses and provide more secure licking doors.

Pros: Right beside the hill, extremely accommodating, affordable, lobby in the lodge is nice and rooms are clean.
Cons: rooms are outdated and quality of linens and furniture was low.
This is a great place to stay if you don't plan to be in the hotel much more than sleeping. Access to the mall and hill make it a real winner.

Paid for location ~slopeside, and was pleased with that. Room was quiet but old and basic. A $59 motel 6 anywhere else but $200/night here.

There is no front desk. Have to go to mtn chalet to check in/out. I called about a shuttle from the airport, they said there wasn't one. There was though. Nothing on the online Rez about anything. No help at all. Tv is hard to watch...it's not HD signal. Rooms are very very old, but it is the cheapest place around especially that close to the slopes. And has everything you need. A small continental breakfast would be nice in the game room area. Not sure if I'd try it again.

The property itself is very run-down and needs a huge facelift. The carpeting is old and worn, the bathroom is ancient, and the furniture is sparse, to say the least. (Our room did not come with a desk or a table, so
we had to eat our food on a towel on our beds.) The room also had an unpleasant odor every time we walked in, which, in retrospect, was probably mildew, because later on in our stay we noticed water dripping from the
ceiling onto the carpeted floor. Then we realized that the carpeting closest to the outside wall of the room was damp, and probably had been damp for the entire length of our stay, but since it was so close to the wall, we never walked there, so didn't realize this until we saw the water actually leaking from the ceiling. That being said, the location of this property is EXCELLENT, so close to the mall, the slopes, and all the buses. It is
definitely the least expensive option for staying close to it all, but you really just get a very tired-looking, bare-bones room. It is unfortunate that all of the other properties in the area are so very expensive, so I guess you
get what you pay for!

Stay away. 50 yr old motel type accommodations. Needs to be knocked down and rebuild with a modern facility. Terribly loud. Could see daylight under the closed room door, allowed cold air into the room.

The quality of the apartment, no reception staff on the property, problems with the shower and the lack of resolution of this (I had to shower with cold water two days), makes this hotel is not at the same level as Snowmass ski resort.

As stated below, if you're looking for luxury, this is not the place to be, but although it was old it was clean and the service was very good. Made the bed, cleaned the room, replaced towels, placed new coffee packets/sugar every day, etc. For the price in this area, you get what you pay for. Very short walks to Snowmass Mt., the mall, activities, restaurants, buses, etc (less than 3 minutes). I would definitely stay there again!!

The location is great with casual access to the mall and 1 minute walk to skiing. The upkeep on the room was terrible. The toilet wasn't working when we arrived. The shower fixture exploded during use. Not ideal as a 'nice' vacation property, but it beets driving down valley to the super 8.

You get what you pay for and this is the least expensive lodging in Snowmass.

Very well located, next to the ski area and Snowmass Mall.
However, steam cleaning of the carpet in the room is long time overdue! In addition the room does not have a table or a desk.

I live in NYC and I know what luxury looks like and this isn't it! To be perfectly honest, the rooms are a bit frumpy and old, and if it's bright and shiny you're after, you best go elsewhere.. On the other hand, it's clean and well cared for, and having a microwave, a fridge and a coffeemaker in the room is a real bonus. You'll pay a modest price but be able to walk 100 feet to the mountain, a perk you'd have to pay double for somewhere else. You're also directly across the street from the free Snowmass shuttle buses and down the block from the ones that whisk you into Aspen (also free). While the rooms may not be 5-star, the service is. Anything we wanted or needed brought an immediate response from the always friendly front-desk staff. All in all, you won't find a better location for what you're paying, and you'll end up coming back every year as I do.

Very convenient, nothing fancy, not even a flat screen tv, but right on the slopes. I had family staying in one of the higher end locations, with fireplace, huge flat screen Kitchenette, but not enough beds for our group. This basic room worked out very well! The only downside was having to pay to park.

Second time I have been staying here.
I am a no frills, ski all day long, sleep, wake up, repeat kind of skier.
Best price in town, I would stay here for a third, fourth... time.
